Very unique Pontoon Boat by renowned Canadian boatmaker Princecraft. It is a 100% Solar powered Pontoon Boat with a Torquedo 2 Electric Motor and Heavy Duty Deep Cell Marine Batteries. Batteries go in their own under deck waterproof bunker to not take up floor space. Two huge solar panels keep the boat charged for 6-10 hours of running time depending on conditions. Lovely deck with snack table, three door access, two swim platforms and a swim ladder at one end. The deck is upgraded material. This pontoon boat is designed to be solar powered which means ALL components and deck design have been done with weight and streamlining to accommodate the specifics of a solar-powered vehicle. This is not the same as throwing an electric motor on an ordinary boat. Two large solar panels secured soundly on factory installed racking keep it charged. Ordinarily, you should not have to as the boat has been designed to work with the size of solar panels and batteries provided, but plug in is provided.. The Torquedo Motor runs absolutely silently. Because of the solar aspect, there is no noise to the running other than the water pushing past the pontoons. This is wonderful. We could hear birds, fish jumping and loons would literally not fly away because they wouldn't hear the boat.
